Hello! I’m Robert, and I’d love to get to know you, your organization, your aspirations, and your needs.
I have nearly fifteen years of experience conducting program and portfolio evaluations, developing theories of change and logic models, and training sector professionals how to evaluate their programs and communicate their impact. I have extensive experience partnering and working with nonprofit, philanthropic, and governmental partners on initiatives focusing on a range of topics, including K-12 and postsecondary education; the connection between school and career; public health; policy advocacy and implementation; and innovation. Throughout my career, I’ve worked for and with organizations across these sectors, including:
- Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
- The Aspen Institute
- Lumina Foundation
- The California Endowment
- StriveTogether
- New Mexico Black Leadership Council
- United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey
- Government Alliance on Race & Equity
- Living Cities
- Career Ladders Project
- Consumer Reports
- Urban Institute
- Public Health Management Corporation
I’m energized by helping mission-minded organizations accomplish their goals, and am particularly interested in supporting organizations and the social sector in New Mexico, where I am fortunate and lucky to call home. I founded Verdin Consulting, Evaluation, and Strategy to bring my experience with national organizations to support organizations in New Mexico and the southwest, while continuing to support efforts nationally. I look forward to connecting with you!
